Hi everyone! I am excited to share the creative process behind a tourist guide website that I developed using Next.js, Headless WordPress, and Figma.
I started with a graphic design using Figma, a browser-based interface design tool. Figma offers a wide range of features for creating high-quality designs and allowed me to create a visual design for the website. I designed the layout and the way users will interact with the site.

After completing the website design using Figma, I started implementing it using Next.js and Headless WordPress. Next.js is a JavaScript framework for web application development that uses server-side rendering technology to provide a faster and more responsive browsing experience. Headless WordPress is a headless version of the popular CMS WordPress, which allows developers to use the WordPress backend as an API to provide dynamic content to their websites.
I used the design created in Figma as a basis for creating the website structure, using React components to create the different sections and pages of the website. Additionally, I used Headless WordPress to manage the blog, creating a custom theme that uses the WordPress API to fetch blog content. I used the CSS framework Tailwind to create a modern and clean look for the website. I also used CSS animations to create smooth transitions between pages.
The end result was a tourist guide website with a fast and responsive browsing experience, a dynamic blog, and a modern and clean design. You can visit the website at 👉 Lou On Tour to see the work I did.
In conclusion, using Figma, Next.js, and Headless WordPress allowed me to create an intuitive and easy-to-use tourist guide website. I highly recommend using these technologies for future projects.
